  2. I have the older model. It's really is fantastic for what it is. With that said, the newer model that you have can have a kettle bell or straight/curl bar attachments! I kind of want to upgrade now lmao On a related note: I recently got a walking pad so I can 10k steps a day while at home. This is far more relevant to my job as sometimes I need to do surveys where I walk/hike 5-10 miles a day.

  4. So over the last year or so I've lost about 23kg in weight. Most of that has come through improvements to my diet, but I've also been moving a little more. Over the last month or two I've been working out. Not much mind you, I don't have much time nor do I have much space, so it's mainly weights and some basic calisthenics; 30-40 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I'm doing this before work, and then going to work (a manual job) so I'm a little tired, but it's worth it. Been using 5kg weights so far and my arms and chest are already feeling a little tighter, more toned. This purchase is the next part of this. They should carry me through the rest of the 'fitness journey'. I can't see myself wanting to lift heavier than 22kg, and if I do, then I imagine it's time to get a gym membership. Sorry kids. So yeah. £229. Money well spent.
  5. Has proper English subs. Context: Taken from an interview with Apple Music 〈Golden Flower of Paradise〉 Jiaquan: "The title of the song is my grandma's real name. My grandma passed away last year. I only learned in recent years that she never had the concept of home from the moment she was born. She was born in a very poor family and was sold to my current grandpa like an object. This was the child bride culture that still existed at that time. She never had the opportunity to plan her future, study or fall in love freely. In the year when my grandma passed away, I encountered the "Amitabha Sutra" which had a profound impact on me during the mourning ceremony. This sutra describes in detail the scene of the Western Paradise after death. The "descending spirit" in this song projects a chance for her to live again, like a golden flower growing again from the soil. In the middle, I also quoted a passage from the "Great Compassion Bodhisattva's Vow": "In a moment, you will be born in the Pure Land." This is also my way of expressing my longing for my grandma."
