I just wanna play Portal 2... I bought a new copy on PS3, took the Steam code and traded the PS3 copy right back in. Only ended up paying $13 outright. Too bad I need the PSN to be up and running for me to link my Steam account to my Playstation account...

Wait, you've traded in the PS3 copy before you linked accounts? How were you expecting to link accounts sans PS3 game?

Well, at least you kept the code. You will probably need to gamefly a copy of Portal 2 PS3.

Nah, I used to work at Gamestop, so I've still got friends there. They said I could borrow a used copy to set up the account link, then bring it back.
How was I supposed to know that the Steam code required a linked account? I mean, how could I know without reading it, that is...
