The best way to watch Bleach is to just jump in episode two hundred something when you don't know what's going on and you don't have a Bleach-to-English vocabulary glossary

Likewise, ignore anything "lore" and watch the fights. When I first began watching, I didn't see the first few episodes and I kept trying to wrap my mind around Bleach's afterlife. Even once you get a grasp on it, it doesn't matter because it comes down to "fight, kill or be killed, conclusion."
