San,Chan,Sama. What does these dam words mean!!! >:l

San is mister, sama is missus, and chan is miss, more or less. There is more nuance to it than that, though.

no no no, they're all used for both. san is like honorable, but not too overly honorable. sama is for addressing one whose rank is far above yours, like a boss or master. chan is used generally when you're being cute or to people who are really close to you
