    Whoah! Assassin's Creed 2 is... really good. Wow. I can only imagine that however they resolve this franchise and the character arcs it's gonna be disappointing. This premise is just way too good.

      I really liked AC2 and Brotherhood, but Revelations was weak and I was sick of Ezio by that point.

      Considering that ACB and ACR weren't worked on by the main team and that team was working on AC3 the entire time... yes, they are side stories of sorts.

      But they're side stories where major main plot events happen, so people who haven't played them are going to be lost when they play AC3.
