    I just bought Far Cry 2 and I'm finding it to be buggy as all hell. It's a PC game, so there might be patches or mods that fix these things. Where would I go to find those, and how do I know which ones I can trust?

      Right click it in Steam, go to properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache

      This is the universe punishing you for not buying Zeno Clash.

       

      But yeah, Far Cry 2 is a notoriously buggy game, and it seems the only patches are official. It's worth checking out to see if the Steam version isn't updated all the way, although it probably is.
