    Does anyone know a trick to make an earbud speaker that's crackling stop crackling?

      Depends where it's bad. You could breathe some fog on the plug and plug it back in, or just twist it back and forth a few times. If the wire's broken, it's probably best to replace them - though if they're really expensive you CAN resplice it.
