you've got better perseverance than me - I got bored around series 3, I think

Second half of three then onto four is a period of the best tv of all time. Sad that you dropped out, though its pretty understandable; it is really slow. The whole thing actually benefits from a second watch, you notice the thematic depth and double meanings behind every word and action spoken on the show.

Series 5 is actually just bad thus far. Closer to Desperate Housewives then the intelligent drama it was.

If they actually properly finish it like they were supposed to, I may get the box set and give it another go from the start.
