My copy is full of audio glitches, even back when the cd was brand new, but I have never read about others having such issues. I would assume such problems would be fixed by now. The game has average production values, but the story itself didn't seem all that bad. I never finished (plot kept getting audio-skipped) though, so I guess keep that in mind. The characters have distinct abilities and and you'll pick out your favorites early on. The game is very long and some dungeons are obnoxiously time-consuming. If you're a fan of ATB and more traditional RPG standards, as well as a story with some politics peppered on top, I'd say this is well worth 5 bucks.
