I just tried Kotaku... there's 1 story on the front page. 1. How the hell are you supposed to use that?

You can click an icon in the top right; makes it blog style (or so they call it); and then the stories appear one after the other.
Supposed to showcase the top story , and then show 3 others at the bottom. It does make the graphics they use pop out though. They got that part right at least.

The blog style is honestly not better.
