Exactly. The whole 'Democracy' thing is being pushed, but people forget that a Democracy can still be corrupt, like Iran, and to a far lesser extent, India. Look at all the groups on the forefront of the political stage in post-protests Egypt; they aren't the brightest or most peaceful bunch. Also, the 'peaceful protests'? I'll admit, maybe 60-70 percent of people were peaceful, but the rest were rioting, plain and simple. There was a picture I saw of a normal man ever...

Also; certain types of people will seize any opportunity to riot and cause damage and harm. This has been seen countless times throughout history; a movement of peaceful protest will begin, and a group will seemingly join in, only to start rioting and looting at the first opportunity.
