I'm assuming you are already running an x58 system? It'd be more cost effective to upgrade to a 960, instead of having to get a new mobo+cpu+ram set.

That, and I'm not particularly fond of Sandy Bridge, but mostly that's due to me knowing little about it compared to the 650.
