Bleh. I'd be arsed to play TF2 a lot more if it wouldn't keep crashing as soon as someone writes to me on msn or whatever else happens.

...sign out of MSN then? Run it in full screen windowed mode?

^ what Faiblesse said. Also you can set MSN to go "busy" when you go full screen, which will stop you getting pop-ups.

I've never had the Source engine work in a window for me. Also note the "whatever else happens." ANY notification has a 50% chance to crash TF2.
