MTG is great until you draw lands five turns in a row.

Yeah but I take that in stride. Over say, 10 matches it probably won't happen very often. I do know a few CCGs skirt the resource issue pretty well.

It happens often enough that it's frustrating, and then it happens to the other player a lot of the time as well, and that's just no fun. A victory earned because luck completely fucked over the other dude is not a real victory.
