Woah - that's a blast from the past! I loved that game so much. -
Don't worry, you're not alone.

Oh, I forgot! Rise of the Argonauts. -

Severed limbs/heads: As in, even a jokey fake arm (like Anchorman) makes me feel physically sick. Veins: Particularly on the wrist - I hate hate hate the idea of getting a papercut on my wrist. Belugh! But I'd say my truly irrational phobia is stop-motion animation. It makes me feel dizzy and sick when I watch anything stop-motion made. I can just about stomach Wallace and Gromit, but then I still don't sleep well afterwards.

It's probably a bad decision to now step up and say that I own a Barbie PC game. It is old though. But still. Anyway, in a desperate attempt to stay on-topic, I played through Samorost 1 and 2 (the 2nd on Steam) yesterday. 'Twas good.

You can have as many guesses as you like, but the new rules are that only the last answer will be accepted, even if a guess before was correct. EDIT: Too many people posting too quickly.

I would say both PC and Xbox (I guess you could technically, technically put them under the same umbrella company of Microsoft, although I guess with programmes like WINE for other Operating Systems it's not quite the case). PC, because most of the games I want to play are PC-based anyway (Warcraft, WoW, a lot of Steam games), but also because it was my introduction to video games. I used to watch my brother play the PS all the time, but to actually set up that first ever Diablo II LAN connection on our slow-as-muck computers was certainly something else. And the PC is so bloody versatile in it's gaming. But I like the Xbox too, for it's exclusives and the way it plays - I like the feel of the controller, the ease of Xbox Live (apart from those damn Microsoft points) and the exclusives too. I voted for all consoles are equal in the end, if only because of the belief that there should be more Animal Farm references in the world. :3

Complete Doctor Who fanboi (girl) here. One of my many New Year's resolutions is to catch up on the pre-2005 episodes. Twilight fans need to go away and live in a hovel. Bleugh.

Does this only refer to games/gaming platforms?

Crap! So...familiar...

Hmh. My ears aren't that big. But I am that gosh-darn cute.

Well, that just looks...rude.

I will be very surprised if I get one of these right ever. But we'll see. EDIT: Can't spell.

Games that you hate that everyone else seems to like

Also, anything stupidly gory (mainly severed limbs and heads) or designed to make you soil yourself with fright. I'm looking at you, God of War and Dead Space... I like happy pretty things, clearly. *hugs Viva Pinata* But those damn red pinatas...Get the shovel! *backs away from Gyaruson...veeeery slowly...* -

Anything with zombies in it. Because I hate zombies. I will leave now; no need to throw anything at me. I know, I know... -
Awesome. 8 gold medals for me. Woot.

I've never tested the waters for this, because I'm too scared of the possible backlash that could occur, but...Eternal Sonata. But only for Chopin's character, his voice and the interesting excerpts of his music along with details of his life between chapters. That girl who tagged along with him needed a kick in the face, though. Grr. Also, Enslaved. But not because other people hated it, because I absolutely love it and totally overlook all of its flaws. Pure love. -
Without trying to sound creepy or fanboi-esque (but undoubtedly failing miserably): I love you for this.

Currently, I'm rushing to finish Enslaved before my brother goes back to Uni and takes his Xbox with him - luckily, the game seems relatively short. Even though, now I'm nearing the end, I don't want it to finish! I love story-driven, heavily cinematic games and this pushes all the right buttons for me. The look of it is absolutely beautiful, particularly the facial motion capture that's implemented. Blimey. By playing Enslaved, my playthrough of Dragon Age is currently on the back burner. I'm right at the end, and (again) I'm reluctant to finish it. I love the party members (Morrigan gets on my nerves a lot though), but I actually don't like my character that much. I think it's because of the lack of voice acting included, so I feel like some strange mute character surrounded by witty, deep characters with interesting pasts. And I can't say I'm terribly sold on everyone looking up to my character as a Grey Warden - Alastair is so much cooler. I'm also tempted to pick up and finish Apollo Justice on my DS, so I can move on to the new Professor Layton in preparation for the announced Phoenix Wright/Professor Layton crossover, which is probably just about the most exciting announcement that's happened all year. If it doesn't get localised, I will not be a happy bunny, and will have to start learning Japanese!
