I've had to take care of one of my best friends like 3 times, puke and everything and it fucking blows. American culture is all about getting barf-drunk when you want to party. I'm not saying mine is better, but every single SA-born hispanic I know and myself have gotten puke-drunk once and never again. Most in their 21st.

I never understood the appeal of drinking and therefore don't drink myself, but I can understand the idea of one or two glasses with dinner and cutting off there.

Social drinking is fine. Black out drinking, yeah not much point to it. But there's much to be said for that middle line.
