  1. The real Souls starts here. Praise the sun.
  2. We must teach this little bird to fly. Most of us may be twice your age or more but welcome aboard zeck!
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlZ4DycmqRQ I dare you to gather a line of OSTs as good as this.
  4. Waiting for bread to cool down so I can sleep... mouse only. Now that I think about it, I totally should have done Gaffgarion. And Strangelove's titties shooting ass is too obscene. For now.
  5. Pretty much what you're planning. SSD is for OS, programs, browser downloads and anything else that I want to come up fast or survive a HDD failure since I don't expect my SDD to randomly die anytime soon. My storage drive is everything else.
  6. http://news.xbox.com/2014/05/games-halo-journey-announcement Halo 5: Guardians is revealed. It'll be out Fall 2015. Honestly it should of been this fall but maybe there is some killer game coming out this fall that I'm forgetting about.

    Alcohol

After going dry for almost two months due to being not able to afford beer, the weather decided to turn hot (100 degree Fahrenheit) and I got stabbed by broken glass. Incredibly annoyed, I said fuck it and bought some beers. I'm trying out Firestone Walker's Easy Jack. A session style IPA. Going by flavors and mouth feel, yup, it's a Jack alright and it's all in a 4.5% abv package. I can't say I care for IPAs enough to warrant them to be session beers. Soon I'll try FW's Opal. God damn, I could use their DBA on tap. It's isn't as sharp as Jacks.
  8. The demo has you at level 10 at part 4 of the game. It all ends right before you fight the boss. Overall I got to say that the battle system is pretty cool. You can either slow down an enemy or heal/protect one of your guys during battle. During the action portion of the bar, you can get interrupted but so can the enemies. If you time it right, you could just slaughter the enemies by not allowing them to have a turn. It's a nice twist on the turn based RPG. Combined with the awesome soundtrack and I can see why people like this. I was super pumped to fight the boss but then the demo cockblocked me. I'm going to hold for a bit till I buy it though since I don't have the time until next weekend to play it well. Besides, I still have Gurumin and ZoE to play.
  9. Child of Light demo. I wonder if it is meaty enough to give me a good sense of the game. If I like it enough, I'll buy it since I came upon some extra dough.
  10. Once Dynasty Warriors 8 drops to say $20, I'm so jumping on it, for the novelty of it being on PC...

    Xbox One

To follow the train of things Microsoft is doing... you can get a refund on Xbox Live now. Main reason is for those who got Live just for applications like Netflix and Hulu. So the applications that are going out of the paywall. Next thing you know, they'll silence everybody with free multiplayer.
  12. That geologist was no geologist. He couldn't even orient the god damn map among other things.

Oh hey. They're suddenly a lot more competitive in my eyes.
  14. Today I learned that green rocks are cool. I usually ignore the likes of serpentinite and basalt. Now I got hit in the face by a pretty neat partial Ophiolite sequence. Amazing.

  15. Seems like Nintendo will put it in same sex couples and all those features with the next installment. That is good but no, it is not good enough for some. It got to be here NOW. They have no idea how it would change so many things like the interactions. It's a change that would make it another game.
  16. http://store.steampowered.com/app/239120/ Final Fantasy III on Steam which is rather interesting. I'm pretty sure I've played III before but I just forgotten everything about it. I recall Mythic Quest more than III.
  17. You know what's really fucked? I am eating my dinner. Today is a strange twist on a classic that I love. This "white" sauce made from roux made with whole wheat flower giving it a brown tinge.

  18. No doubt there is the goal for a major franchise but Jesus, what kind of numbers do they have to pull to make the initial $500 million worth it to investors? Also it is sad that there isn't any plans for a PC port. I can muster buying a game but not a new console.
  19. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/05/06/us-activision-destiny-idUSBREA4501F20140506?feedType=RSS That is quite the gamble by Activision. $500 million? I'm just not sure Destiny will stick to the point that they'll break even.
  20. http://gfycat.com/GrimColossalFritillarybutterfly So, the recent snapshot introduced a few major changes to how slime works to the point its creating a brand new industrial revolution. I think this is like the third one to have happen.
  21. My family actually knows the guy or one of the guys that rolled out the McCafe and other numerous items. I have no idea if he even has any power over it now (How many years ago did McCafe rolled out?) but last I checked, he takes these complaints super seriously since it is his baby. Sucks either way.
  22. This is indeed a Nihon Falcom game. It's not super difficult but its quite nice. While it can be described as babby's first action-adventure game but I find the setting kind of charming if a bit plain. I kind of wish Falcom expands on something like this in the future. This game is too cute to abandon. Come on, look at Purin.
