How does other people playing it before you effect your enjoyment of the product?

because you know that due to arbitrary release system you don't get to play it for several days. You miss out on the watercooler element. The game itself will play the same. The atmosphere around it not so much.

Yeah, pretty much. I hate it when the game is released in US before EU release date.
