4/5 awesome controllers isn't bad. Too bad about that three prong mess.

I still maintain that for its games, the Gamecube controller is one of the best controllers ever. The 360 controller owes much to the GCN (including the rotten D-Pad.) The only controller that is superior would be the Japanese Saturn one.

The GameCube controller does have its fair share of issues, as much as I like it. The C-"Stick", the tiny D-Pad, the analog L-R being WAY too analog-y, and the stiff Z-button are all things that stand out to me when I use it. But damn is it comfortable to hold. Easily the most comfortable controller I've ever used.
