      I've never had an Ubuntu desktop installation last more than a week or so before failing irreparably. I've tried many though, going back to about version 6...

      I liked Ubuntu before it got crappy. Now I'm more of a Mint fan.

      Mint is nice. I have Ubuntu on Dual-boot on my netbook though. Not sure why, guess I wanted it to be cool. (Though I guess it also massively limits what my sisters can do with it)
