Ah. Only the host needs Magicka Vietnam in order for everyone else to play, so base your decision on that if you want.

holy sheet it needs more than one person to play. Or not l;laying for a few weeks has lost my edge.

You can play it solo, it's just incredibly difficult. The frost and shield elements are your best friends during solo play.
