Legal dudes: If someone (from a translation group) wants to fan translate one of my works into Spanish, and he wants permission in exchange for linking and crediting, would I be okay in saying I'm not going to give permission, but won't stop him as long as he credits me?

Sorry, he said he'd link to the purchase page and credit me as the creator. Wants permission to translate. I don't want to give away any future rights or anything, but also don't want to dissuade fans or even fan translations.

Do you want compensation if he makes money off of his fan translation? What does your agreement with your publisher day about this sort of thing?

No publisher, so it's all up for me. As far as compensation goes, I guess that's tricky. I think his site has ads, which I don't mind, but not outright selling it. Thanks, GOH.
