The scene wasnt included in the final version but Nero was to have spent 25 years on Rura Penthe. The same Klingon hell hole that Kirk and MCCoy were sentenced to in Undiscovered Country. That wouldnt have a positive effect on one's sanity. Also, if it wasnt for George colliding the Kelvin with the Narada he would of been much more formidable. And he wasnt just after Vulcan. He went to earth and then he was going to go to Qo'noS. Maybe Andoria and the other major fed planets. But then again he did have a borg infused ship and was packing red matter. Dont even start about red matter... lol
