  1. GOD DAMN IT. headphones always break so damn easily. And its always the same god damn place that causes problems that bendy part just at the connection. GOD DAMN FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS ARGH.

      Issues with the bendy bit just at the insert plug are easy to avoid: that part is the most common breaking part of any cord system, because people mistreat them woefully. Basically, if, where the cord is coming out of the housing, there is ANY bend at all, even a slight one, the chance of it breaking will only increase. Make sure there's no bend in the cord where it immediately begins. Same goes for laptops and everything.

      You cursed me, Excel... My Sony buds (looks like "MDR-E818") just died today. For me, it's always the spot where the wire goes into the earphone, though this time I only loosely coiled it - never wrapped it tightly around anything. Ah, cheap hair-thin copper wires.
