    Is anyone else here not ready for a new batch of consoles? I think games on the 360 and PS3 still look gorgeous, and I haven't seen any high-spec PC game that made me think the consoles needed that kind of an upgrade.

      Yes, the reason we aren't pushing hardware as quickly as we could is that consoles are holding us back.

       

      And thank god for it! Gaming is expensive enough without a crazy-ass hardware race to keep up upgrading my PC.

      Pirandello: Yup. Because consoles can't hack complex AI and making those beautiful corriders and shooting gallerys gamers demand.

      I'm certainly not ready for a new batch of consoles. Heck, I'm fine with what we've got. I've also not played all the Wii/PS3/360 games currently out that I want to play. Heck, I have a few Gamecube games I still need to get and play!
