    Just found out that iD Software is pronounced like "lid". MIND BLOWN.

      were you pronouncing it "eye dee"? I know it's the word id not initials, but just cos I.D. is more common that how I always think of it before I correct myself.

      Yeah, I always read it as "eye dee" as well. Even though I realized it was wrong a few years ago, "hid software" still sounds weird to me.

      I remember when I was at Eurogamer last year and Tim Willits (talking about RAGE) called it "ehhd" and I was like "WTF it's I D." :|
