I love, loooooove the movie, but the book is still better at a lot of things; namely, the relationships actually make sense, the ending is fulfilling, and the nerdiness factor goes to 11.

I think it's obligatory to say that you lesbians the film.

The comics are very good. I read them first, and as good as the movie is, I think I prefer the comics. Doing things in a different order might impact how much you like the comics, but you should definitely give them a read. :-)
