  1. cool if it goes the other way too so on easy mode they stand around taking anti-emetics.
  2. Nice. Was it a tough decision to go for electric?
  3. first party controllers aren't what they used to be, they used to be bullet proof and last the life of the console, and that's when i used them more
  4. Behind The Screen was just about OK. Luckily it was short and not too much combat which I found particularly annoying as my Switch Pro Controller doesn't seem to register all button presses (not sure I've ever had that problem with an official controller before, so don't love that as I haven't used it much). It was an unusual story but not brilliantly written so even though it was a cheap game I couldn't recommend it.
  5. I annoyed myself by watching an official video of showing some gameplay so I think that means I'm excited for it and it's 25% off at Currys so thought I would treat myself and try to play it near launch.
  6. I wasn't expecting a new Zelda game on the Switch. I'm assuming it will be more puzzley than combaty else it might feel a bit frantic trying to conjure something up with someone is charging you but I like that it's a bit of a different take on things. I never got the Link's Awakening remake as I don't like to replay games so look forward to playing a game in that style as I think it looks lovely. I wonder how big it will be and if it will have traditional dungeons but will definitely be keen to get it.
  7. The outfit they put you in was so iridescent and ostentatious it was really distracting and it was only four unnecessary one minute cut scenes that spent longer getting to/loading than the scenes themselves.
  8. I finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla. 100% progress, but not 100% complete. Thought the story ended rather abruptly and in fact hadn't realised I'd finished it. Especially with the random extra bits they kept throwing in like the elton john farewell tour. Completed a lot of the mysteries, artefacts and wealths as I was travelling around but didn't feel the need to carry on after I was done with the story. I did 100% the additional areas, and had the ultimate edition so there were a few. Think I got the balance right this time between story and extras, without getting burnout. Not sure if it was the game or me, but that was a problem for the last few AC games for me. Obviously there were recognisable town names but was pretty cool seeing local landmarks like the stiperstones and mitchell's fold, which I've walked along though it was a rather fanciful rendition of the area. ALso enjoyed seeing the welsh story line, but was a shame I was on the wrong side of that story. Will look forward to playing Mirage though do not feel in a rush to do so.
  9. traitors! Might give it a go then.
  10. Just finished Ghosts. I watched the first season when it aired. Not sure why I didn't keep up - probably found all the ghosts being loud and self-centred a bit annoying. I still did, but enjoyed the whole thing quite a lot and was a bit sad at the last bit - though it's nice it got a proper ending which I think was well done. Anyone watch the US version? Wonder if it's worth a watch?
  11. I thought that was Madonna, Frozen when I first saw the thumbnail. Nintendo Have posted a Zelda Concert. Think they've only put up snippets before?
  12. Super Mario Wonder. I'd started to get bored of the 2D Marios so had thought of skipping this one but had a 25% pre-order code so would never have got it that cheap again. I've been playing it sporadically since launch cos I can only enjoy one or two levels at a time as every now and again I'd just get one I'd be really bad at. I really did think the wonder seeds brought new life back to the series and would recommend the game to others, but having completed the story I had no desire to go back and finish the levels I hadn't found yet.
  13. I loved them both, but don't generally like to play games again as I don't play enough for that. I Think Cing were a great developer and was really disappointed when they went bankrupt that Nintendo didn't buy them as they'd had a close relationship and filled a gap in Nintendo's own output.
  14. Got excited when I thought there was a new game out - it's just a remake of the original two games, both of which I've played. Quite good for people in the USA as I believe they didn't get the sequel? May also hopefully mean they are working on a third one.
  15. This is properly stuck in my head since I saw the programme, luckily I really like it unlike other songs that get stuck there (do do do come on let's do the conga springs to mind which I had a genuine problem with for years)
