  1. Need to replace my 17" laptop. Do 13" screens feel cramped?

lmao, was I you? I STRUGGLED between deciding if I wanted a traditional drawing tablet (with screen), 2-in-1 or a tablet (I settled with this) for drawing for a loooong time. I kicked off 2-in-1s due to me already having a laptop so it would be kind of silly essentially have another. You'll have access to full tried and true programs like Clip Studio which you can straight up buy (on mobile some of the better ones are still WIP and are subscription based) so you got that going. Be sure to check how good the drawing experience is on your choices. I dunno how they would feel but as for sizes...

My Tab S7+ is 12.4" screen so a 13" will be plenty of space to draw. To be fair, an iPad Pro 11" is good amount of space (8.5"x11" paper, duh) too but more real estate is nice to a point. Note, I use cases that has a handle on the back for both tablets.

16" would be way too big/heavy to say draw in bed and I doubt a case is even available for a 2-in-1 that has a handle. So a 16" is probably desk based drawing and maybe a bit on the lap. So basically treat it like a Wacom tablet that's hooked up to a desktop. You might need to treat them all like that though but I'm not sure since I haven't tried those 2-in-1s.

With that said, back to size, I'm not sure how well/bad a 14-15" screen will work since I don't have them in front of me to gauge them. I recommend looking it up.

In another, "will I ever learn?" moment,  while I was dithering, the laptop I was looking at has gone up by £150, so that's not ideal.

Yeah, I think there's some chip shortage on atm. A friend was asking if I could look into gaming laptop for him (since he'ss decided he's not going to bother with PS5 just yet) and they struck me as generally kinda pricier than they used to be (also shocked 4GB RAM is still allowed to be sold?)
