I can see which threads have new posts in them (there icons are darker), but when I click on that thread is there a way to tell which of the posts are new? Thanks, Joe

I use spotify, but don't bother with playlists as I only really use it to listen to individual songs. E.g. if I hear something on a TV advert. Or if I like a few songs by an artist I'll see if the album is worth buying (on CD!). If I want to remember an artist for the future I'll star the song of theirs I like. I will have a listen to those playlists though to see what kotakuites tastes are like - I hope there isn't to much metal though The old kotakuites playlist is just the vampire weekend album :/ I guess that's the problem with collaborative stuff. People can ruin all your hard work. Maybe it can have a rule where you can take one song off and add one on? Joe

I think it's the charm I missed from Fable II. I felt it was going to have a British-game charm a la Simon the Sorcerer. I couldn't put my finger on what I didn't like about it before but you articulated it for me. Thanks! I have the Lost Chapters version of the first Fable and I usually don't like playing a series backwards as you tend to notice all the things that were improved for the sequel that you mightn't have noticed if you played them in order. Sounds like it may be worth giving Fable: TLC a go though. I liked the Zelda-esque gameplay of Darksiders, but the tone was way off for me. One of the things I like most about Zelda is its 'safe world charm' even when Link is in mortal danger, it is sort of Disneyfied danger like the baddies don't really want to hurt you. I think I just like my gaming PG-friendly! I'm hoping Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom will be good for me (though I'm assuming it lacks the Nintendo humour).

I know it's not English as such. But I hate that UK is dd/mm/yy whereas US is mm/dd/yy. Obviously if the date is higher than 12 it's not a problem but who on earth knows what date 03/04 is when you read it on the internet. It's such a stupid thing to have to think about and I bet causes more genuine problems than the Millennium Bug ever did. EDIT: the plaster between the wall and the ceiling: no one's mentioned the term coving?

I'm waiting for the GOTY edition to come out before I buy it since I didn't love Fable II and only liked it. Actually thinking about it it was one of my biggest gaming disappointments as I really wanted it to be a Zelda fix for the xbox to justify my purchase of the console. Joe

thsnks. I thought that would be the case but I didn't want to find out the hard way.

CyanogenMod isn't supported on my phone (a ZTE Blade - which is awesome: 480*800 amoled screen for £90!) but they're working on it. At the moment I am using Japanese Jellyfish which is 2.2 though anything was a welcome improvement over all the evil orange bloat that came with it. Can anyone answer a question for me: if I pay for an app on the market is it linked to my google account so, if for example I install a new ROM or even buy a new phone will I be able to redownload the paid app or will I have to buy it again? Thanks, Joe

I'm still waiting for blu rays to come down in price - they are just completely stupid so I only have a couple I got as presents. I don't have many DVDs as I only buy ones I know I'll want to watch again and that I get a warm fuzzy feeling from owning. Most films - even if I enjoyed watching them I would be happy just with "Oh, that's on TV tonight I might watch that again". So, I have about two shelves full. I don't know how many that is! Joe

What did you guys like Lee Pace in? I've only seen him in Pushing Daisies - which I LOVE. Also, his middle name is Grinner. I do believe that to be thoroughly awesome.

The great Wii games that no one mentions

That Rabbids mini game sounds pretty LOL. I know it's a remake but I loved A Boy and His Blob. It is completely charming and has the perfect pace and challenge in a game for me. Joe. -
I got this totally sweet sleeve for free for registering all three games on Club Nintendo! I haven't played the third one yet but on my most trusted review site they said it has the best story of the three and since that is the only thing in it that really changes I should be very happy with it. Joe P.S. the puzzle I remember most was from the first game I think and it was about a boy on a canoe dropping his hat and turning back for it. Even after unlocking all the hints I still had to go on the internet to get the answer! I still didn't understand how they got the answer!

Caffeine has absolutely no effect on me except making me need to go to the toilet. I wish I could get a buzz off it as I love to drink it and that would totally be an extra bonus. I generally go for a cappuccino without sugar, but I do like the fancy ones as a treat every now and again, e.g. I had a frozen mint coffee which was surprisingly completely gorgeous. I used to roast my own coffee, and while I could taste the difference between that and store bought, I don't know that it actually tasted better so pretty much gave it us as it is not that easy to get green beans around where I live. budgies and parakeets are two different things in the UK. Parakeets are bigger and more like parrots. edit: I already know this is a stupid question, but is that Law and Order UK trailer genuine or a spoof, cos if it is real it is awesome!

Are fish and chip shops common in the USA? I only imagine them being popular in the UK.

I second Loco Roco - only uses the two shoulder buttons! |God of War I only played the demo, but that wasn't difficult and trust me when I say I am AWFUL at videogames - you can just button mash if you don't want to employ tactics. Joe

The PS3 is my first Sony home console, so the collections are cool for me - not everyone has owned the games previously, guys! I will be getting the Team Ico one and also the Sly Collection when it's dropped a bit in price. Joe

Brownie in a Mug: You can make it and cook it in about two minutes and it's gorgeous. What's not to love?!

GameCentral is my favourite site. It's British which is useful so I don't get excited about a game 2 years before it makes it over here, if it makes it here at all and I love the letters page which is how a comment section could look if the internet wasn't full of idiots. Plus I have a soft spot for it from when it was on teletext (and even back to Digitiser if any still knows what I'm talking about!) Joe.

The annoying thing? On the USA scale, they are near London!

Behold the hotness: or another unkempt nerd, I forget which...

Have you ever tried to explain where/what Wales is to an American? I had enough trouble with a Londoner once.

Hi, I only just noticed you guys moved to a new home - you won't shake me off that easily again! For anyone that doesn't remember me* or is new my name is Joe and I'm from the UK. *please pretend to remember/miss me! Joe.
