      I keep Pikachu because I can train his speed and special power. I have an attack whose damage is dependent on the speed difference. Plus Raichu is fucking awesome.

      So if I haven't played a pokemon game since yellow because I started to feel like they were all the same and it was slow as hell will this one do anything to win me back?

      If you haven't played since Yellow, dude, there's A LOT that has changed. One of the things that's odd to be is the assortment of all Gens on your travel. It doesn't always feel very balanced and I don't really have an idea what my Main Six will be.
