    Whoever decided dodging 200 lightning bolts was a good sidequest is an asshole and I hope they get kicked in the taint.

      Yeah some of the endgame stuff with FF games can be a total PITA and the ultimate weapons in X were some of the worst. I guess for you guys you've got Penance and the Dark Aeons as a new difficulty too.

      Never liked the speed run for Excalibur II in FFIX either.  I like to take my time and enjoy Final Fantasy games, but no.  If I want the best weapon I have to skip through everything that's cool or fun.
