  1. I'm mad because I decided to go peaceful until I get better at the game (and can craft some decent stuff) because I'd get a bunch of useful items... and then night would come and those bad guys don't fuck around. You close yourself in or they will get you. I built a building that was 20 blocks high with three levels and the spiders still got me. One other time I got pushed off and I fell on a blow up guy. Being new in this game is not easy! The worst part is that it appears to be down right now. Sweet, it's back up.
  2. I loved the cd player on the saturn. I'd put in Soundgarden and play "Black Hole Sun" on repeat, just watching the ship fly around for hours on end. I bought that system with my own money when I was... I can't even remember, but I bought it from the Wal*Mart in Fond du Lac before it was a Super and I bought it with Virtua Fighter 2... that game was so fun. The Madden game I got for it was probably also my favorite Madden of all time as well, with it's FMV half time and pregame reports with the old Fox Sports crew. I played the demo disc until it stopped working, doing the home run derby on whatever baseball game was on there with my brothers for hours on end.
  3. I typically try to get half of the achievements and half of the possible gamerscore for XBLA titles and 75% for retail games. Some games are nearly impossible to do that with unless you spend a ton of time looking for things that do nothing but give you an achievement so it just doesn't seem worth it anymore after the "get the orbs" challenges in Prototype, Assassin's Creed (flags, Templars) and Crackdown (especially Crackdown, though). I broke 50 as well a few months ago and I can't say I'm not proud of it. I use it as a guide when I'm bored and want to check out who I'm playing against in like Halo or Call of Duty to see how familiar they are with the system as a guy with <1000 gs might not be as knowledgeable of a player as someone with 20k, you know? I also like being able to compare achievements. I'm OCD all the way too so making sure my GS ends in a 5 or 0 is a priority. I had been going crazy because UMK3 ruined it for... years, actually but I finally found a friend with the game and had her help me get a couple achievements so I could round it off again.
  4. Qix++ is a game I completely missed when it came out and my friend in NY told me what it was and I was like... "oh, like jezzball?" and she had no idea what I was talking about but that's a basic version of what Qix is. It's simple, it's repetitive, but when you go for that 95%+ completion you start having a lot of fun. Castlevania HD Magic Pac Man CE & DX I own... probably close to 50 XBLA titles and the only one I feel I wasted my money on was minesweeper flags. I have no idea what possessed me to purchase that garbage dump.
