Regarding The Witcher 2: I've encountered two glitches in the tutorial, each that made me start it over to progress. Also, the one achievement I unlocked earlier, and that shows in the community stream, isn't showing in my Steam client. Is this a sign of things to come with this game?

Your fault for playing the Steam version.
Are you using the combat re-balance mod? I've heard that breaks the tutorial though it could have been fixed by now.

No, no mods. I'm hoping it does stay restricted to the tutorial. Things seem alright in the actual game so far.

Guess I should add that I wasn't using the Steam version of the game. Not sure if that actually matters.
