There really isn't a sadder group of bitter and confused people than the ones who look for controller support threads so they can take a giant shit on them in the Steam forums. I'm sick to death of these motherfuckers already.

Some games just don't reasonably qualify as candidates for the support, some are marginal, and others can be done without question. In all three cases though, you will find plenty of people on Steam who can tell you that it can't work, the devs don't want to do it, you're too lazy and should just use kb/m, go buy joy2key and finish programming games yourself, you're trying to turn PC into a console, etc... It's like fucking Groundhog's Day in those threads.

Mass Effect is fucked. I was going to begin that trilogy on PC if not for that. I still have a boxed copy sitting here doing nothing. Anomaly 2 is pretty fucked too, as they eventually released a console version after saying they would add controller support on PC, and it (the PC controller support) never came. The prequel had full controller support on PC too, so a lot of people bought it expecting some controller love. I even asked a dev at PAX 2013 about it, and was totally blown off with...

Coincidentally, it's their (11-Bit) new game, This War of Mine, whose controller support thread saw me squaring off against the stupidest of the fucking moronic this past week. I mean uniquely and impressively stupid... Stupidity the likes of which one would have to hunt for to perfectly fill a reality TV show slot.
