    Needed an ultra-portable computer for school. I SPECIFICALLY went out of my way to NOT buy an iPad. I won't be a part of the tablet fad just because it's the "in" thing. (I also happen to need a netbook, not a tablet).

      I would seriously consider a tablet if I were you. They're not a fad, so you should give one a go. Acer has a good one out, and the iPad 2 is actually very good.
