I remember the rise of deanbmmv from nobody to stardom, to unstarred, to starred, to unstarred, and perhaps maybe one more star, and then the final unstarring. Member since the days of "send your comment with the box and your email address, hope we like it."

I went to the next article accidentally, and when I came back I had lost my place in the comments because it looks like they're a separately loaded module instead of the old comments, which sort of functioned as part of the page once they'd loaded. Lovely.

Firefox. It doesn't feel as snappy as the previous website, the scrolling is definitely mushier.

My connection isn't the problem, it's one of the best in the USA. There's a decent chance it's my computer, but it's a 4-year-old MacBook Pro that was top of the line (for a mac lol) when I bought it, and no other site gives me problems like this.

None of this really fixes the problem of the site being so slow that my browser slows to a crawl when using it. Really unhappy about this.
