I think what blows about splitting up is kids and animals. I mean the last few days (before I'd given him up) I've had the boy(cat!) he just came up to me and sat next to me with his head resting on my lap. It felt sweet and awful at the same time.

wtf, i feel for you. I've been more cut up about my pets dying than relatives. @TME. Just WOW.

I'll be fine. It's just weird to lose so much of your life. I hate the idea of building something up to lose it. It just feels like so much wasted potential. I never even wanted the pets in the first place -.- but having raised them and trained them I got attached to them. They're like dogs but also quite innocent.
