If anything, the SEGA purchase was the sole reason to be optimistic about Atlus potentially making the jump to PC. SEGA is a big player in the PC market right now, they own a lot of studio that specialize in typically PC exclusive genres. And I think calling VC "late" is looking at it the wrong way. They had very little reason to go back and port it, but they did. Hardly seems like a negative thing here. I'll give you Yakuza, though. I'm still hoping that rumor about Yakuza 0...

...ends up panning out.

But yeah, I wasn't implying that this makes Atlus any more or less likely. I've given up on them at this point. Atlus Japan have their heads too far up their ass.
