    How the hell did I manage to leave Valkyria Chronicles unfinished and untouched for almost two years!? Spent close to 2 hours last night rewatching all the cutscenes to get back into the story, and I seriously can't figure out why I stopped playing such an awesome game O_o

      That could be it, actually. I had stopped at Chapter 7, the mission versus the ridiculously armored tank. I did a few skirmishes first to re-famiiarize myself with the gameplay, which allowed me to level up some. So I beat in only two tries (though I lost two squad members in the process :( ). But I remember it being crazy hard before I stopped.

       

      And the mission I'm on right now is actually getting a bit frustrating as well!

       

      But other than that, the game is seriou...

      ... seriously awesome. I love the mix of SRPG and third-person. Plus, the painting-like art style looks amazing.
