Hey! Sony! I thought PSVita games were going to be 5 or 10 dollars cheaper via the PSN? How come Uncharted is on the PSN Store at $49 bones, same as on Amazon? Huh?! Huh!?!?!

Actually, I don't know what I'm talking about, apparently. Some of the games have slight discounts but it seems a bit uneven. Uncharted is 49.99 retail and digital but other games are 39.99 retail and 37.99 digital, other games start at 29.99 retail. I don't know if each game being prices differently is a good thing or bad...

...I mean on one hand, that's how it was in the olden days of Nintendo carts. So if a developer feels that their game is only worth 29.99, then hey, that's good. But in the case of Uncharted, for 10 dollars more I got Uncharted 3, which is a much more polished, more varied game, that includes multiplayer. I guess it's more a matter of what they think people will pay. And they're right, I will buy the new Uncharted for 49.99.

I think it's a matter of how "big" the game is. Titles they think will be popular will remain expensive I would guess whereas games that are "smaller" are going to be cheaper. I can see them doing this but I guess we'll see as time goes on.
