My gaming computer crapped out. My brother accidentally shut off the power while the computer was shutting down.
Wont boot back up. Hopefully its an easy OS reinstall- Show previous comments 13 more

I figured it was the hard drive if it was during shutdown. RMA it if you can. Damage like that is typically covered if you're in the warranty period.

My warranty went up like a week before this happened. Unfortunate.
Ethan: I was told that the format was not compatible with windows (which made no sense) after googling how to format the drive and not being able to I just bought a new HDD
