As an alumni of a college fraternity, I have to say its disheartening to see how 'frats' are viewed in the public eye. The worst part is that most of these assumptions are based off of fact that some dickwads in fraternities have done, said, or acted. Those people and stories are just hated by most of us because it paints a picture of 'frat' life that most fraternities dont even allow or follow.

of course I'm going to say this, but you should at least check out the fraternities to see if its something you would want to participate in

Also, the fraternity I joined was kicked off for hazing, but that was before I joined. They even were kick out of the fraternity (nationally) and I helped rebuild it, it was a great experience (and I am a founding father)

So again, i'm in no way defending the actions, but it saddens me to see that happens making those of us who don't do that(the majority) look bad.
