  1. Never been into the Warhammer universe, but I really like the idea and setting of it. What books are good to help me start into the series (either 40k or just Warhammer)

      I disagree with Enervation about this. I'd say the MUST-START-WITH book is definitely the Space Wolves Omnibus. It involves a character being slowly introduced into the universe and growing used to it, which sort of parallels the newcomer's road. Not on the level of Dan Abnett's writing, prose-wise, but definitely the best entry point into the universe, hands down.
