Is there a post about xbox issues? My friends have trouble hearing me on live, I bought a new mic and still the same problem

I just had this issue. First, if you're using a router at home, you'll need to figure out which ports to forward for the 360 and set it up. If that's all good, I found the standard wired headsets are useless - I'd always have to position the earpiece as far forward as possible so the mic could be sort of close to my mouth, then really speak up to hit the minimum volume to trigger the voice chat on my end. Eventually I got a Turtle Beach headset and it's working great.

One surefire test for network issues is if they can't hear you in party chat, but you can record a voice message and send it to them.

My Xbox actually gets its internet through bridging my connection on my laptop, I wonder if that might have something to do with it. I might check out a Turtle beach headset. I'll play around with my router settings though, thanks for the help
