    So, I found out today that you can hose down a laptop with diesel fuel and, unlike with water, it will still work like a charm.

      Well, I didn't personally do it, but there was a bit of an accident in our test department, and one of the hoses used to fuel up a generator came loose and sprayed one of the guys testing the device and doused the laptop itself. The LCD is rather dark from the fuel seeping into the screen, but they continued to use it for the rest of the day and it seemed to work just fine.

      Now that I think about it... If you can soak all of your components in oil then I guess this isn't too far off.
