PSA: Akira on blu-ray is up for preorder on Amazon for a November 12th release. 'Bout goddamn time they rereleased it.

...but Akira has already been released on blu-ray. It was one of the first blu-rays I saw and really convinced me about the format.

It is, but it's rare and overpriced here in the US. At least it was the last time i checked, about a year or 2 ago.
