Its sad that unless its a puzzler, old school platformer, or racing game, any other game I play HAS TO have a story full of cutscenes and voiceovers. Everything else just will not do. Im basically what gamers my age hate.

To me, cutscenes in MOST games are like watching a movie, then having it interrupted with commercial breaks in the theater/on the disc. Or listening to an album, but having news bulletins crammed into the middle of the songs.

Yeah, skipped that one because there's no room in these profile posts. The "indie" label means nothing to me though - when I started gaming, PC games were indies. Sierra was as big as it got and everything else was just sorta randomly found somewhere. "One gimmick" can be said of any game with reductio ad absurdum. "People like X about this game. All it is is X!"
