Engrams should always have a chance to be a better rank than they are, but not a lower one. I wouldn't mind getting gear for different classes if we could trade them.

AWW YEAH Ive been wanting these gauntlets since last week, but by the time I had enough strange coins to get them Xur was gone. The messed up part is that I had enough strange coins to buy 2 items and enough motes to buy 2 exotic engrams. I bought one of each and Im saving the rest til next week. Though I saw a huge problem.... Zur sells mostly exotic gear. I got my gauntlets and then used my motes for the engram and got an exotic chest armor....but I cant wear both. You can only have one piece of exotic armor and one exotic weapon equipped. And just a warning, but the exotic engram you get from Xur is guaranteed exotic gear, but its not guaranteed for your class. You could end up getting gear for a class you dont have. I got lucky this time.

The dagger is used for a super move called blade dancer. It lst a few seconds and basically kills anyone in one hit. The one hit gun is the golden gun, which is also a super move. Same as blade dancer really, except with a gun. Not to mention that shotguns, fusion rifles and sniper rifles all kill in one hit as well. Done correctly anyways.

It could be worse. A LOT worse. Thats why I dont mind this. This is subdued as a japanese character design gets. So this is good to me.

The expectations for this game were outside the realm of logic. I don't blame people for expecting more maps and locations, that's a very reasonable expectation, but a lot of people were thinking it was going to be like a full blown mmo with huge Mass Effect influences and tons of story. I played absolutely none of that in the beta, so I didn't expect it. Not sure why everyone else did. Never thought Id be defending such a huge AAA game since I don't play many, but I've been liking all the recent AAA games that people have been disappointed by. Bioshock Infinite comes to mind. I just don't put these big expensive well known games on a public pedestal. I look for shit I personally like in games, not shit that's expected because of the genre, the developers, the publishers and the general gamer consensus. If it's not a negative to me on a personal level(restrictive chat options), then it's not a negative at all. More story, more maps in the base game. That's what I'd change. The game itself is solid.

Yeah. I personally have never seen a weapon with light.

Its random. Once youre above level 20, most rare(and above) weapons will have a light stat. Uncommon and regular weapons never have light.

I don't think there is. It's so annoying that I just stopped using my ps4 to charge it. It's just weird that there is absolutely no connectivity between the two like there is with the ps3. Remote play is the only hing they can do together.

Ive read it before, but its hard to keep in my head. Its just all so awkward. The app says Ive only played for a little over 30 hours in total....thats not true. Ive been playing it since tuesday at 7am and have only stopped to sleep and eat. Despite the short amount of locations and maybe content overall, Ive gotten my money's worth. Im in Diablo 3 mode right now trying to get really cool stuff so I look cool and/or dont suck anymore. Anyways, I have 11 strange coins, need two more to get an exotic item.

I forget most acronyms post Myspace being popular. I have to look up TIL almost every time I see it. Same with FTFY. Most of it is gaming stuff. FFS is another one. Basically, I know LOL and LMFAO. That's about it. So many fucking acronyms. I fucking hate 'em.

The marks and reputation shit is so confusing. If you join one of the factions, you'll get that factions reputation instead of vanguard, which basically locks you out of using the vanguard marks since you need a certain level of reputation. That's basically the vanguard quartermaster and the main vanguard people that stand around a table at the tower. You join a faction and they're useless. You get vanguard marks by doing playlist strikes and weekly and daily missions. Crucible marks can be used to get faction items and crucible items. You also need to build up crucible rep by doing the red crucible bounties. That's what I've figured. I think so far.

Anyone use the Destiny app? It's pretty awesome. Has tons of info. Wish there was an iPad version though. Using a phone app on a tablet sucks.

When playing crucible games, do you pick up items or randomly earn them?

Missing dlc shouldn't be that obvious. Also, can you only co-op in teams of three? Any time I do a strike, there's only two other dudes with me. I haven't played with anyone in a party yet.

So is there a third subclass to unlock or is it going to be sold to me as dlc? For warlock there is clearly an empty third square in the equip screen. Also, the Destiny app actually says 2/3 under subclass.
