Chuck E Cheese probably. I think I saw him there once. He was the weird guy in the corner with a laser pointer.

      I meant "own". Goddammit.

  2. I thought this game was really dull when I originally played it. Both in story and gameplay. Just standing there not doing shit. So noninteractive. I wonder if the zodiac job system will be different enough that it will change my mind.
  3. Why is everyone doing the spoiler thing? Isnt it a given that if you come in here its going to be a discussion about the current episode. I guess Ill go along with it.
  4. Theres a severe lack of Mountain Dew and Doritos in these photos. And those tacky Halo 3 Master Chief helmets that everyone got with their collector's edition or wherever the hell they came from.
  5. Bought Overwatch off someone from Neogaf for $40(PS4) today. I've gone all digital, but I'm not convinced I'll stick with this game, so I'm buying a disc for the first time in God knows how long. Hope I like it. If not, I'm sure I can resell it for the same price.
  6. Xmen Apocalypse. Everything with Apocalypse is bad. It almost feels like they had a good movie then for some reason realized it didn't have a villain and just jammed Apocalypse in there at the last minute. His scenes feel so unnatural, like they don't belong there. It's very strange. Just a terrible and uninteresting character. All the non-Apocalypse stuff is really good. Fassbender kills it again, despite the shit he has to work with. This movie probably has the best special effects in any recent superhero movie I can remember. Wolverine gets a blatantly shoehorned scene. Its very flashy when it needs to be...as long as it doesn't involve Apocalypse, who still fucking looks like Ivan fucking Ooze. And I just hate Jennifer Lawrence. But Apocalypse kind of took all the heat here. She seemed better in comparison so she didn't bother me as much as I assumed she would. I also liked all the casting. I liked Sansa, Olivia Munn and whoever the new Storm is. Everyone else is fine as well. Nothing to be upset about. I don't regret seeing it, but it could have been so much more. Maybe as a two parter. There wasn't any time to get invested in anything here. I just did not give a fuck. The writing is just...blech.
  7. I feel bad for Fassbender. He's always so much better than the Xmen movies he's been in.

Wasn't he one of the driving forces behind the ACreed movie?

Yes, hence why he doesn't deserve our pity.

  8. Saints Row: Gat Outta Hell. It's just more SR4, which is what I wanted. Flying is fun in that game. Parappa The Rapper 2. It's so good and looks great on PS4.
  9. What are your names on there? I wanna know if Ive hated you on there at some point.
  10. All this Overwatch talk made me want to rewatch Overnight. Everyone should watch that doc.

  11. Have you considered making a thread on NeoGAF about this? I have and I did. Are you on there too? It would make sense that some of you would be on there.
  12. Life Is Strange. Episode 5 is uhhh....very not good. The ending I got also ends abruptly. I hear the other one is handled better. The game is a solid 7/10. The dialogue is Heavy Rain tier. Which was fine for HR back in 2009 or whenever, but game writing has gotten way better since then. No excuse for this game to sound so cringy. In general, a lot of obvious shortcuts were taken because of their budget. Hopefully this isn't a problem in their next game.
  13. Finally got caught up on GoT. I think I'm ready for it to end.

  14. How'd you get it for free? That Taco Bell promotion? I tried it a few times but I tend to have terrible luck with those sorts of things.
  15. There's only like 1 or 2 people on my PS4 friend's list playing it. I'm curious how it's going to do on consoles in general. $60 is just too much for me with the content they're offering. Especially considering you can get it for $40 on PC. I'd be totally cool with $40. I'm sure it'll kill on PC though. They'll be fine.
  16. Damn, Battleborn bombed hard.

  17. Neighbors 2. It's funny. Of course you have to like the first one to like this one. It's kind of more of the same. The grownup stuff is disproportionally way funnier than the sorority stuff though. Not the girl's fault, they just didn't have a lot of jokes on their scripts. Rogen, Byrne and Efron have really good chemistry. I don't know why but I find it weird. I guess I never saw Byrne and Efron as comedic actors. I figured the first movie was just them doing it for the fuck of it. But they're pretty legit now. Also, there's this Asian girl in most of the sorority scenes who will say one line and always crack me up. I will say that they wasted Dave Franco and Carla Gallo. They both have maybe one funny scene each. Hope there's an uncut version with more of them in it.
  18. Fallout 4: Far Harbor. Great expansion, except that they force you to do some really lame Lemmings/building blocks style puzzles. They're godawful. I will never play this expansion again because of these puzzles. I can't believe this is mandatory to continue the main quest.
  19. All these years later and I still can't pay full price for a MP only game. It just doesn't feel right.

Are you talking about Overwatch? There's a $40 version on the PC but if we're talking PS4 or Xbone (lol) then yeah, I'm with you.

Overwatch needs more content than that demo displayed in order to justify that price tag. The gameplay was a lot of fun, but that's not a game mode that I think an entire game can rest on for very long. In my opinion.

Yeah, it's a large roster of characters, but I think only like 6 maps or something.

  20. Any of you guys ever seen The Crow: Wicked Prayer?

  21. Finished it last night. Great game. Still prefer TLoU and Uncharted 2 though. TLoU is just plain better, but I can almost assure myself that my Uncharted 2 love is partly based on nostalgia. I hadnt played anything like that at the time and at that point(and still now) I was primarily a single player story focused game type of person. Those are the games I love and Uncharted 2 at the time did it the best by a large margin. Also - this game has way more platforming than combat. Its like 60% platforming, 30% combat and the rest is...the rest. Puzzles, dialogue, cutscenes, etc. Lucky for me, I enjoy the platforming. I'll defend Uncharted's gunplay til the end, but I was always a fan of the platforming and even moreso the platforming mixed with the combat. Adding the slide thing and rappeling was very nice. I love rappeling in this game. Also, every character gets a nice big chunk of time in the game. I was worried Sam was going to completely take over, but theres a healthy amount of Sully and Elena in this. Elena is my favorite character of the series, so I was really glad. I honestly have two problems with the game overall - and that's that there's a very long non-interactive cutscene somewhere in the middle of the game. As a MGS fan Im used to long cutscenes, but Im not a fan of them in Naughty Dog games. I like that they seem to limit themselves on how long their cutscenes are. Most in their previous games end at about the 3 or 4 minute range. It keeps the pace going. But here there's a pretty long cutscenes where I actually was able to put the controller down. I didnt like that too much. Good cutscene and all, but I wish I was playing something during it. And the second problem was the boss fight. Its not very good. It's good as a spectacle, but its not very fun. Which is dissapointing since the David boss fight in TLoU was so great. Still though - great game.
  22. Civil War lived up to the hype. Weird. I wasn't expecting that.

I will go out on a limb and say Iron Man 2 isn't as bad as the majority of superhero films out there. Iron Man 3 is a little rough to watch because we've got Tony Stark having anxiety attacks and people with thermal explosion powers. I'm fine with the Mandarin twist as some supervillains are just outlandish for the MCU.

      Mr. GOH!

The Mandarin thing was great! It was the rest of the movie and the dumb villains that were bad and boring.

I <3 Mandarin. But yeah, AIM were a bit boring. Sucks cos be nice to have more than Hydra kicking around. I thought Iron Man 2 was enjoyable, and the first of the proper "MCU" films.
